Event Recap: Rainbow Blvd. Pride Block Party 2024

3 tents with pop ups and a crowd of people in front of ULAH

On a sun-soaked Thursday afternoon, the vibrant spirit of the LGBT community came alive at our Rainbow Blvd. Pride Block Party. Held outside in front of our store at Woodside Village, this event was a celebration of local diversity, inclusion, and community, and we couldn't have asked for a better turnout or more memorable moments.

 A Heartfelt Thanks

First and foremost, we extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who attended. Your presence and energy made the party an even bigger success than last year. Special thanks go to our incredible partners and pop-ups for their participation:

Heartland Men's Chorus  | KC Rainbow Tour | West Bottoms Plant Co. | Untamed Supply | Link + Lou | Save Inc. | Tom's Town | Brain Freeze Daiquiri

The beats provided by DJ Hydan kept us dancing all evening long, while the fabulous Daisy Buckët kept us entertained.

Throughout the day, attendees indulged in a variety of activities. From games, face painting, photobooths, and shopping to enjoying delicious bites and cocktails, there was something for everyone to savor and enjoy. The support shown for local businesses and charities, and organizations was truly heartwarming.

Beyond the festivities, we also came together to make a positive impact. Thanks to your generosity, we raised vital funds for Save Inc., an organization that provides housing and support services to the LGBT community. Your contributions will help make a difference in the lives of many, ensuring that support and care continue to be accessible to those who need it most.

As the sun set on our Pride Block Party, we felt a deep sense of pride and gratitude. It was more than just a party—it was a celebration of love, acceptance, and unity. Let's carry that spirit forward, not just during Pride Month, but every single day.

To all of you who danced, laughed, shopped, ate, donated, and celebrated with us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your spirit and energy made this day unforgettable. Let's keep spreading love and acceptance wherever we go.

Until next time,

ULAH
